Rebecca Schulz
Licensed Midwife, Certified Professional Midwife
My interest in midwifery began with the homebirth of my first son. Roaring my child into the world with the support and empowerment of my midwives was so transformational in my motherhood journey, I wanted to give others what I had been given.
Over the years, my passion and love for empowering families in the deeply transformative space of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum has only grown. Although the hours may be long, I can honestly say that I love my job and feel honored to walk alongside families as they navigate this journey.

Background
I grew up in Erkelenz, Germany, a country which embraces midwifery and holistic care. I was raised multiculturally and multilingually [German, Russian + English], which has given me a deep appreciation for culture and a better understanding of diverse backgrounds and worldviews.
An internship at Shiphrah Birthing Home in Taytay, Philippines in expanded this understanding further, as well as multiple continuing education courses on cultural competence.
I am committed to centering families of all backgrounds, shapes and sizes in the journey through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
